I have been moving away from Corsair as of late. There were bugs in iCUE that just cripples the hardware. If iCUE crashed (or process stops, icue freezes) it takes almost everything you have custom, with it. I had the K70, SE70 headset, H100i Pro, and the Scimitar mouse. When iCUE crashes it takes out all the custom hotkey setups on you keyboard and mouse, it puts your custom fan curve for the h100i pro into balanced and it takes the headset volume and drops (because you lose all your settings in iCUE for it). They use to be a rock solid company, but it seems their software has been in a steady decline for a while now.

DONT BUY ****WARNING**** Don't buy Corsair, worst client service and poor quality product. For some reasons I have bought their product for a while on Amazon. Forget getting any type of refund or replacement. If they do it takes a month. I ordered a Pump and res combo recently, set to ship october 12th, 2020. On the 13th I asked them if it was shipped, I get a response that the order doesn't exist. I took a screenshot of the fund on my credit card and the order number and sent it. Two days later I get a response that yes it was being prepared for shipment. 5 days later, I ask them about the package as there is no signs of it being shipped yet, asking for a refund at this point I'm done. Receive a response that they can't refund as the package is being prepared. I sent back a message saying I want a refund now the item was not shipped and they can cancel it and give me a refund now two days later still no response. Go Razer instead if you want a gaming fidelity company, at least with Razer I never had any issues. This is not my first bad experience with Corsair they won't change the way they threat their customers, they don't deserve our business.

Once you've bought a Tesla, how can it be legal for them to not allow you to unlock features of the thing you now own which are already built in? Makes no sense to me. The precedent for remapping has been around ever since chips have been in cars. Although you could argue that remapping isn't exactly unlocking features that have been deliberately locked because you didn't fork out for the company to do F-all, this makes Tesla's practice sound worse not better. I mean, imagine chip makers ban you from overclocking because they are able to charge you to provide this service before sending the chip out from the factory. You'd be cool with that?

The worst thing corsair did was removing the sailing ship logo. My case is from a time where they still had it. I have to say : it held up well despite quite some abuse. I went across all of Germany with it in a suitcase, one time by train and four times by car

Don’t buy their mouses. I have the m65 elite rgb and the left click is broken, which would probably be a little frustrating if your a gamer. I’ve had to click harder now because by broke I mean like when I click too light it doesn’t register on the screen. Many other people have had these issues as well.

I bought some high speed ram with Samsung b-die from corsair, when it came in it had hynix chips on it. Corsair sent out ram modules to review sites with samsung b-die, got some good reviews and then immediately switched to hynix chips. If anyone is considering investing in Corsair, rest assured, they will do every little underhanded corporate trick to try to make their investors just a little bit of extra money. Unfortunately, they will also lose themselves lifelong customers like me because of these shady practices as well.

Corsair PSU: Used for 1 year plus and it's spoiled. Corsair RAM: Used for less than 6 month, "Spoiled". Their Keyboard, Mouse, Headphone, Cooler and Case has always never been in the recommended/top list. *In conclusion, Corsair manufacturer suck....

I hope corsair going public doesn't mean board members making stupid decisions to cut corners on product quality for short term profits & dividends only to drive the company into the ground by ruining its reputation. This happens with non-public companies too but generally less often since the people that run it in typically care more about the brand and actually have a vision for it.

i would advise against corsair keyboards for technical reasons. their is a driver conflict that has existed for near a decade which interferes with controllers on pc. obviously their are work arounds but i ran into this issue and had to abandon the keyboard to be satisfied with QOL.

Regarding Tesla, "Ludacris mode" is an additional 10 GRAND, if you can go to an aftermarket shop to get that kind of power for a 10th of the price with some minor occasional inconvenience it's worth it. This isn't necessarily about tech, it's about the broader term of car culture and modifying your car to what you want it to be. For gas powered cars its rebuilding engines, modifying values on the ECU, or adding boost through induction such as turbos or superchargers. For electric it's all software unrestricting.
