You know what i hate about the gpu market? Not so upgradeable parts. Whats this, my midrange gpu need more memory? My low end gpu need more bang? Tough luck, you need to buy the whole thing, including its own motherboard and new heat cooling. Really? And i have no idea why is this.

Well, i didnt mean the motherboard where everything sits on but the board where the gpu sits on. Basically, i mean gpu is not modular. When you buy new gpu its like buying cpu + ram + motherboard packet but its gpu + vram + board, cant just buy vram if you run out of it or cant just the gpu if you need more bang.

You don’t need new motherboards to upgrades gpus unless you using really old mobos (and more often than not OEM ones) So I don’t know what you are talking about

Everyone is talking about these horrible roll outs. Lets face it, they are trying to get rid of their obsolete stock and are not going to make it cheap or easy to get next gen GPUs until the Nvidia 2000 series and AMD 5000 series stocks are depleted.

Will their integrated graphics get better when they learn more making the discrete gpu? AMD's integrated graphics is amazing by comparison to Intel's right now. My cheaper older laptop with a Ryzen 3 2300u(released in 2018) has better integrated graphics than a newer i5 9400(released in 2019) desktop from what I can see.

Crysis 2 and 3 should be retconned IMO. We never really got much exposure to the US/KPA conflict from the original Crysis, and the fact that the Koreans made their own nanosuit independent of Ceph technology felt like something that could've played a pivotal role with the human/ceph conflict.

This is *NOT* the first Intel Dedicated GPU. I present the AGP-Based Intel 740: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel740 Before PCI Graphics card chips got made natively as AGP from chip-to-bus, Intel made a dedicated GPU for AGP Chipsets back in 1998 to help bridge the new gen vs prev gen graphics cards and busses. It contained 4MB of "Frame-Buffer" memory and used main RAM on the computer board to store textures. Clocked at 220Mhz and a remnant from the Apollo space mission technology, it's the first AGP-Based dedicated graphics card meant to encourage adoption over the aging (and over-saturated and complex) PCI bus that was getting lots of bandwidth eaten up by disk controllers, ever-faster network cards, and many other external port expansion busses. So no, intel hasn't just released their first dedicated GPU. The 740 for the Pentium I/II/III territory was.

Hmm my 2019 razer blade has 32gb of ram, 2070, and I carry it all day for school due to covid and I wouldn’t have it any other way, it also gets amazing battery life because when it’s unplugged it doesn’t use the 2070, I can turn the brightness down and turn the screen refresh rate down to 60hz instead of 144hz
