I ordered one of these and just got it today, it does not work as advertised, barely gets 25 watts on my Samsung, (same as the one that came with it)and it can take 45 Watts, pretty disappointed :(

EA adding ingame ad's is illegal even if it's questionable. Adding ad's like they are a part of the game is treated as subliminal messaging in the most first world countries. FTC who manage digital legal matters in the US do have a stance on subliminal messaging.

You give Apple far too much credit. The deeper into the Federal Court System this case gets the worse it will be for Apple. Apple has tried to maintain an ever evolving, predatory Monopoly on its iOS’. Apple really bit the forbidden fruit with their retaliatory and predatory cutting off of Epic to its Development tool. Apple had a CEO who believed he was god in Steve Jobs. Since his passing, Tim Cook has been blowing it completely. Until very recently, the Apple shop was rudderless. Only in 2018 was there any sign of hope. Apple lost its focus on the market Steve Jobs shifted it to: Consumer Electronics. They have yet to fix that issue. This has left Tim Cook a SINGLE battleground: Apps, most of which are developed and sold by 3rd party vendors like Epic. Epic has shrewdly found this flaw in Apple’s Stars and has mounted an intriguing and extremely viable Case. Apple only made it worse for themselves by kicking Epic off of their development tool. The judge who said its Epic’s fault WILL be overturned and very soon, as a matter of Law. There are only 2 outcomes here, both of which will irreparably harm Apple. The Courts will, as a matter of Law, side with Epic and Apple will have their only currently dependable revenue stream seriously cut into. The other outcome is a partial victory for Apple, which will end up being worse for Apple asa business. Apple hasn’t TRULY innovated since the 6s+ and the first iPad Pro. That’s a long time ago. They don’t have anything particularly revolutionary in the pipeline. They have also significantly overpriced their computers to once again put them in the the VERY notch market. App makers will slowly, then en masse, simply abandon Apple as they continue to flounder in any form of True Innovation in their Consumer Electronics offerings. Apple picked the wrong hill to die on. Their over confidence and Tim Cook grasping at their last truly expansive revenue stream is a huge mistake. EPIC doesn’t have to bargain to come out far ahead and Apple has everything to loose. Their Market Cap is going to take a hit once the 2 massive cases they face hit the courts simultaneously. Neither of which can be consolidated.

Well the community who were watching the leaks already knew the rtx 3080 would perform up to 40 to 50 percent faster than the 2080ti... So no surprises there... We also know rdna 2 big navi engineering sample first leak beats the 2080ti by 20 percent at lower wattages close to a high end gaming laptop gpus... We also knew the cuda core on the 3000 series is about 1/3 the performance compared to the 2000 series... And we also know a few more things about rdna 2 big navi that the nvidia shills (digital foundries) don't know or want to acknowledge... but does it matter? Nope... Because it all depends on how amd launches and price their cards... They will earn more money selling zen cpus compared to selling their gpus.... Because making 1 80 CU big navi gpu could make around 6.8 3950x... If we assume the 80 CU big navi price is $1.5k then selling 2 3950x would cover the cost and the additional 4 units will be pure profit (this is still not counting the increased area of wasted spaces from the bigger die size of the gpu wafers) and we still don't know zen 3 pricing to the die size yet so i don't see why amd would even care to make these cards as much as selling zen 2 and zen 3... So tsmc and amd don't really want to sell these card cheap and would rather want to make more zen cpus... Because zen cpus are selling like hotcakes... so yea... They reach their gpu goals a long time ago they are just doing the usual stuff... Nvidia will still take the performance crown with high wattages.... but the next generation, whomever uses the next tsmc node will be the king and I don't see how nvidia will come crawling back to tsmc and making a good deal with them after blaming them for the yields failure when they did not design it to tsmc specs back in the day costing tsmc a lot of investors and potential buyers... This all can be seen clearly with simple mathematics and actual proper node density calculations... because the rumor mill is nvidia's samsung yields are really bad to the point where it's total volume is about 1/3 comapred to the radeon 7 launch day volume if we assume they had started their mass production run just after confirming their stuff... While tsmc on zen 3 and other amd SoC 7nm this year is so amazing to the point where they can activate 2 spare cores (including console's yields).... this is good news for their 5nm leap next year's expected yields for zen 4... Because its still on finfet... Only after 5nm finfet that tsmc uses a new process node... So yea i am just waiting for big navi to come out then wait for price wars then get the cheapest highest price per dollar metric i could get 2nd hand from regrets on buying nvidia at launch or first hand cards...

Did Apple make a huge mistake is what you mean you to say you ignorant apple fan boy. As a UE4 game dev I would be thrilled to have apple cut off Epic. Then apple would hopefully stop buying game related new tech and burying for the sole reason of making sure no one else gets it. Apple is nothing but a headache for me and many in my field. It's already propaganda to call RTX 3070 "mid-range". This card is clearly high-end. Not on the highest end of high-end, but clearly high-end. I bought a GTX 970 when it was brand new, just came out a couple of weeks ago, and it holds to this day solidly. It can run modern games still on medium settings super well, after all these years. Kind of a huge amount of power for a supposed "mid-range" model.

Sooner or later, Apple will start a Worldwide Game Development Conference...WGDC. and support Epic's unreal engine's competitors for best gaming development software with best realistic graphics and easy to use for game developers and makes game developments fast and focused on game mechanism and most efficient workflow than the hardships in graphics esp the characters. All humans and any characters are already in customizable presets that look and feel so real esp the laws of physics it follows. The game demo of unreal engine 5 in PS5 will be so much better in Apple's own softwares from rocks, spatial audio to water and characters. AR, VR games etc and high-end console games in Apple TV+ Pro

It's amusing to see how Epic thinks they have a leg to stand on, when other platforms like Playstation have their own store which also charges the developers/publishers 30% for each transaction, and they can't side-load any apps to it. And Apple even put out an analysis to show that all other stores are also doing the same 30% fees as they are. The ads in sports games are okay as long as they don't mess with the flower of the game or are appropriately placed. There are literally mods in American Truck Simulator that replaces fake billboard ads with real ones because it makes the world feel more real.

When I saw the red gasses from the rocket crash, I strongly suspected that was red fuming nitric acid (RFNA), which is toxic, corrosive, and causes chemical burns. Worse, RFNA is usually used as an oxidizer for hydrazine or derivitives, which are toxic, carcinogenic, and tends to ignite on contact with oxidizers (such as RFNA). Wikipedia says the Long March 4 uses nitric acid (doesn't say RFNA specifically but that color is well known) and unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH). Do not approach clouds of red gasses from a rocket!

Well this sounds like epic took the gun from Apple and shot themselves in the foot and wants Apple to pay for their own fuck up. Any judge involved in this case should take the same stance epic signed a contract and had no problems for how many years, maybe take your own app off the store and negotiate a better contact.

Even if the online store cut were lowered below 30% these companies would still flood us with advertising and micro transaction nonsense. Why? They make more money. Blizzard makes record profits - lays thousands off. EA and Activision make tons of money year after year, continuously shut down development studios. This is how capitalism works, lowering the cuts from the store holster wouldn’t change that at all, it’ll just help line the pockets of EA and Activision even more, and isn’t that kind of the problem?
